My first Thanksgiving!!!

We may live in Israel, but it didn't keep us from a celebration of giving thanks! Mom put together her first thanksgiving meal ever and had a wonderful time doing it. She claims it was pretty easy with two vegetarians as guests. haha What's a vegetarian anyway? I think I must be a "milkatarian."
This is my first thanksgiving outfit. It was VERY COLD outside so the warm, cuddly sweater was perfect for the occasion. This outfit is for 6-9month olds. I sure am a growin!

Our friends Rose, Jeremy and Lauren all came over to celebrate with us! I'm glad I was awake for a lot of it!

This is me sitting with Daddy while he was saying what he was thankful for! I was one of his main points! These are our very good friends, Jeremy and Lauren. They work with us. They are going to have a baby girl in April. I'll have a little girlfriend. That is a 'girl' that's a 'friend'!

What fun!

Mommy came to play with me and my crib!!! That sure was fun. But, at bed time I was glad to have the whole place to myself again.

Mommy and me in Jerusalem!

Ahhhh Shabbat! There aren't any cars!

cute moments with my folks!

SO MANY KISSES!

What should I do about my mommy and daddy kissing my face all the time?!

GRASS!!!

Today was the first time I have experienced GRASS!!! We don't have so much of this in Jerusalem and today was a beautiful, sunny day in the Ben Hinnom Valley so I got to enjoy the beauty!

Baby Video Shoot!

So today I was filmed in the Ben Hinnom Valley for a Hebrew worship video that is being created.
I slept most of the time. The camera lady was happy because the song is about resting in the Lord!
But, then when the other babies came on the blanket... I woke up. I'm definitely not used to having siblings yet. I am the one in the middle. The baby on the right side of the picture is my friend David who is in other pictures on my blog. His mom is Finish and his dad is Latino. So he is learning Spanish and Finish. He was born three weeks after me.
The baby on the left side of the picture is Yahav. He is half Israeli and half Dutch so he is learning Hebrew from his dad and Dutch from his mom. He was born two weeks before me. I was born in Israel, but I'm full American and my parents are both speaking to me in English. wonder what language I will play with these guys in as we grow up? hehe

A cuddly moment with my Daddy.

I could also call him "Abba" or "Baba". Depending on whether I wanted to speak Hebrew or Arabic.
I think "Daddy" is working out just fine.

oh brother..

Snow Bunny is now making his rounds in Jerusalem!

My Passport arrived today!

It has a little picture of me inside!
With my name as MICAH ISAIAH and my birthplace as ISRAEL! So cool!
But, I also got my consular report of birth abroad in the mail too.... I may have been born in Israel, but I have American citizenship.

Hooray! Papaw, Gammy, Nonnie, Pappy, Aunt Bekah, Uncle Joe, Aunt Reagan, Aunt Jess and cousin Lukas ... I'm comin to see you soon!

Thanks for the PJ's Aunt Bekah!

They finally fit!!! Aren't they so cute?! I like the little animals on my feet!

Snuggley Buggley bear.

I'm not sure what that means, but I have been getting called that a lot these days!

Did you know...

My Daddy really likes me!!!

And my Mommy really likes her boys!

I'm Back!

Please forgive my mommy for falling off the blog train for awhile. She's been a bit busy taking care of me during my growth spurt these days. I am a little extra hungry, extra fussy, extra sleepy and my awake times are more active than usual! I'm a growin' boy! Just giving mom a taste of what it will be like as a mother of a son. Working from 'SON" up to 'SON' down. hehe At least she LOVES this mom thing!
Aunt Bekah, would you like this picture for your TOGO mug?

The lamb that was slain...

My mom and dad decorated my nursery with a Lion and Lamb theme with reference to the LION OF JUDAH and THE LAMB THAT WAS SLAIN. (See Revelation 5) They put lots of sheep in my room also because the Bible speaks of the Lord gathering His sheep to Himself. I also have a stuffed lion named, Roarie. But, now I have a lamb that was slain for real! These are pictures of me with a real sheep skin. It was a gift from some friends of ours. They said that babies love these things and they were right... It's so soft and fun! I wonder if we could bring it with us on the plane when we go to visit our family?!

This is just a cool pic that my mom likes!

My bouncer chair...

This is my bouncer chair that Aunt Rea got for me. I really like it in here. The green giraffe makes me laugh and the little yellow circle thing is very fun to look at. Sometimes I appear as though I'm absolutley fascinated. The orange giraffe is ok, but doesn't get as much attention as the other... I don't know why. I am very content in my little chair, but after about 10 minutes I am ready to be held again. What can I say... my parents love me!!!! Thanks, Aunt Rea!

At the park..

Today we went to the park. Mom and I walked and prayed while Dad played basketball. We always pray the Lord would open a door for the truth to go forth while Dad plays. Today Dad got to share with a man who was playing basketball with him. PTL!

This is my Mom!

She must like me a lot because she's always kissing me all over my face!

I was dressed like Daddy today!

We sure are handsome boys... well, that's what my mommy said!

a birthday party

Our friend, Rob had a birthday yesterday so we made him a cake. It was my first time to be a part of a birthday celebration. I can't believe that in only 10 months I'll be able to partake of such scrumptious looking fun!!!
