That was one of the first things my Daddy said to me after I was born. He looked at mama and at me and said, "We're the LePage's and you're coming home with us, Micah." haha The famous first words linger on amongst those who were present at the time. It's true... we're the LePage's and we're a family. What special times for all of us!
Yesterday when they put this outfit on me Daddy went wild. He sure thought I looked cute in this. Mommy picked me up after that and couldn't stop commenting on how big I am getting. I am growing fast. They say I am definitely my Father's son and will probably be tall like him. Mom is just glad my head wasn't this size a week ago! This is my little lion friend... we're buddies. I think we'll be getting along just fine in the days ahead.
Today was my circumcision. A Jewish man came to the house. Can you believe he does this for a living? Yikes! It was not very fun for any of us. Afterwards, Mommy and Daddy both cried because they didn't like hearing me cry so much. Then we all took a long nap. Mom was still crying when she woke up, but felt better after talking with her parents who reassured her I would be ok and it was better to do it today than any other day. And I'm doing just fine now.
I'm still cute as ever and really good at keeping my parents up all night. Early this morning Daddy took me out of the room so that mommy could sleep for awhile. I was cooing and gurgling and looking around. During the day I can sleep through almost anything, but at night I am wide awake. So, Daddy and I were swinging in my swing (well, I was, he's too big) and singing and having a grand ol time together until I started opening my mouth up wide and smacking my lips together. He usually gives me to mom then because he knows I will soon start crying otherwise. So, I've learned well. Open your mouth up wide and move your head around... eventually you find what you're looking for!
