5 days old

Last night I wanted to show Mommy and Daddy that I could do the night watch so I decided to stay up all night long. When the sun came up I finally thought it would be good to get some sleep. I have a fancy little bassinet by mommy and daddy's bed, but I'd rather be with them so I tend to cry everytime they put me in it. Eventually they agree and decide they'd rather have me with them too so I got to sleep in their bed this morning after daddy covered all the windows so we could all sleep in the daylight. *giggle* Mommy said she slept better having me close to her anyway.

I've been trying out my smiles today. I don't really know when or why to smile, but I'm getting good at putting one on my face every now and then! Daddy went to a prayer meeting tonight so mommy and I stayed home. She watched a movie and I just looked at her. She liked it.

When Daddy came home he came and got my gobbles. That's where he makes funny noises and tickles me all over.... sometimes with his mouth.

Now I am waking up and mommy is begging me to eat she suddenly has lots more to feed me and wants me to eat more!
